#Trust30 …Day 12…Insecurity and Dream Realization

Is fear holding you back from living your fullest life and being truly self expressed? Put yourself in the shoes of the you who’s already lived your dream and write out the answers to the following:

Is the insecurity you’re defending worth the dream you’ll never realize? or the love you’ll never venture? or the joy you’ll never feel?

Will the blunder matter in 10 years? Or 10 weeks? Or 10 days? Or 10 minutes?

Can you be happy being anything less than who you really are?

Now Do. The Thing. You Fear.

These are the voices which we hear in solitude, but they grow faint and inaudible as we enter into the world. Society everywhere is in conspiracy against the manhood of every one of its members. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

The dream is to have a wood panelled, French glass windowed huge studio space. Here people can do yoga and  practice dance. A meditation centre. Cottages for artists and writers to stay and work for 3 to 6 months working focused on their project. These spacces should be available at very minimal cost, and especially provide for  older creatives, for I find that youth is encouraged with  prizes and fellowships,  but older people who may have entered late and also need encouragement, are largely ignored.

That is the dream.

The other dream is to of course get my book published, and this is more personal.

Huge insecurity since I hate approaching people for anything. Have to really swallow so much of myself before I can ask anyone for anything.

First I will get my book out there, then I will work towards the dream of a hallowed, peaceful space.
